CRUX — Terms, returns & warranty Version: 2026-10-22 TERMS & CONDITIONS The details of buying directly from CRUX. Please read these alongside our delivery and returns information before ordering. Who you are buying from CRUX is a trading name of Outdoor Design Logistics Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 03885962. Our VAT number is GB 763 9414 06. Registered office: Bede House, Belmont Business Park, Durham, United Kingdom, DH1 1TW. This is not our returns address. For orders, cancellations or complaints, email carol@odl.uk.com (mailto:carol@odl.uk.com), call 0800 689 0767 from the UK or +44 114 399 2269 from elsewhere, or write to Outdoor Design Logistics Ltd, Unit 1, Brosterfield Farm, Foolow, Eyam, Hope Valley, Derbyshire S32 5QB, United Kingdom. Placing an order Choose your product, size, colour and quantity, then add it to your basket. You can change quantities or remove items before proceeding. Select your delivery country to review the full price, then continue to Stripe to enter your billing and delivery details and pay. Check your order and address before submitting payment; contact us promptly if you notice a mistake afterwards. Our checkout is in English, takes payment in pounds sterling (GBP), and does not require a CRUX account. Payment is taken when you complete the Stripe checkout. An automatic payment receipt acknowledges your order and payment; it is not a dispatch confirmation. We accept your order, and the sales contract is formed, when we dispatch the goods. Availability can change while orders are being processed. If we cannot supply an item, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for anything we cannot supply, including any delivery charge that no longer applies. We will not substitute another product or charge an additional amount without your agreement. Prices, delivery and payment Product and basket prices include UK VAT. Checkout recalculates the price for your selected delivery destination and shows the goods, delivery and total payable before payment. For export orders, UK VAT is removed where shown at checkout; destination import taxes, duties and carrier clearance charges may be payable separately. Your card provider may charge for currency conversion. See delivery information (https://www.crux.uk.com/delivery) for the available destinations and charges. If your destination is not listed, contact us for a quote before ordering. We will not add an undisclosed shipping charge after payment. If a price or description is materially incorrect, we will explain the error and offer the choice of proceeding on agreed corrected terms or cancelling for a refund. Card details are entered on Stripe’s payment page. Do not send card numbers or security codes to us by email. Dispatch and delivery We will tell you if an availability problem affects your order and agree any revised delivery arrangements with you. Contact us before ordering if you need an item for a particular departure date. Unless we agree a different delivery period with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of your order. Use a complete street address; we cannot deliver to PO boxes. A signature may be required. If a parcel is missing, damaged or contains the wrong item, contact us so we can put it right. Goods remain our responsibility until they are received by you or a person you nominate to receive them. Signing for a parcel does not remove your rights if there is a problem with the goods. Cancellations, returns and warranty You can cancel before dispatch, and consumer orders have cancellation rights after delivery. Our returns & refunds page (https://www.crux.uk.com/returns) explains the 14-day cancellation right, our additional 90-day returns offer, who pays return postage, and how refunds work. It also includes an optional cancellation form. These provisions form part of these terms. Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Your rights when goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect are separate from a change-of-mind return. Our ten-year product warranty (https://www.crux.uk.com/warranty) is additional to those rights and does not replace them. Problems, privacy and a copy for your records If you have a complaint, contact us with your order reference and an explanation of what went wrong. We will investigate and discuss the appropriate remedy with you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection or court rights that apply where you live. Our privacy notice (https://www.crux.uk.com/privacy) explains how we handle your information. You can save or print these pages, or download the terms, returns information and warranty (https://www.crux.uk.com/terms-and-returns.txt). The version supplied with your order applies to that order; later updates do not retrospectively change it. RETURNS & REFUNDS Need a different size, changed your mind, or something isn’t right? Here’s how we can help with a purchase from the CRUX online shop. Your right to cancel For a consumer order placed online, you can tell us you wish to cancel from the time you order until 14 days after the day you receive your goods. If one order is delivered in separate parts, this period runs from receipt of the last item. You do not need to give a reason. Email carol@odl.uk.com (mailto:carol@odl.uk.com) or write to our returns address below with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Include your name and order reference if available. You may use the optional form below, but do not have to. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You do not need to wait for authorisation to exercise this right. You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Original packaging and tags are helpful but are not a condition of your statutory cancellation right. We may deduct a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning. Our additional 90-day returns offer Beyond the statutory cancellation period, we also offer an exchange or refund if you return an unused item within 90 days of receiving it, with its original packaging and hangtags attached. This extra offer applies to goods bought directly from our online shop. It does not restrict your statutory rights, including rights for faulty goods. Under this additional offer, we refund the item price; the original delivery charge is not refunded for a change of mind. Return postage is at your cost. We do not deduct a card-processing or restocking fee. For a cancellation within the statutory period, the refund rules below apply instead. Sending your return For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage. Pack the item securely, include your name and order reference, and keep proof of sending. We recommend a tracked service and suitable insurance for valuable items. If you would like us to arrange a collection, ask us for a price first; any charge must be agreed with you. CRUX returns — Outdoor Design Logistics Ltd Unit 1, Brosterfield Farm Foolow, Eyam Hope Valley Derbyshire S32 5QB United Kingdom For faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, contact us before paying for a return so we can arrange the appropriate return or collection at our cost. This request helps us organise the return and does not remove your rights. What we refund and when When you cancel the whole order within the statutory period, we refund the goods and the standard outward delivery charge. Any extra cost of an enhanced delivery service you chose is not refundable under that right. A partial return does not normally refund a delivery charge that would still have applied to the items you keep. For statutory cancellation, we refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving evidence you have sent them, whichever happens first. Where we have agreed to collect, the refund is due within 14 days of being told you are cancelling. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and carry no refund fee. A permitted deduction for excessive handling is explained above. For our additional 90-day offer, we refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the credit on your account. Exchanges Tell us which size, colour or product you would prefer. Exchanges depend on availability. We send the replacement with no additional standard delivery charge; any difference in product price will be agreed and either paid or refunded. If a suitable replacement is unavailable, we refund under the applicable returns rules above. You can choose a refund instead of an exchange when exercising a statutory cancellation right. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods Contact us with your order reference and a description of the problem; photographs can help. For goods that were faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose when supplied, UK consumers normally have a 30-day right to reject for a refund. After that, repair or replacement rights may apply, followed in appropriate cases by a price reduction or refund. The expiry of the 30-day period does not end your rights. We cover the reasonable cost of returning faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. You do not have to accept a repair instead of a refund where you have a legal right to reject. Our product warranty (https://www.crux.uk.com/warranty) provides additional cover for defects in materials or craftsmanship. If you bought from a dealer, contact that retailer about your purchase and refund rights. You can also contact us for help with a CRUX warranty claim, including if the retailer is no longer trading. Optional cancellation form You can copy the following into an email or letter, or download a plain-text copy (https://www.crux.uk.com/cancellation-form.txt). Complete it only if you want to cancel; using this form is optional. To: Outdoor Design Logistics Ltd, trading as CRUX, Unit 1, Brosterfield Farm, Foolow, Eyam, Hope Valley, Derbyshire S32 5QB, United Kingdom. Email: carol@odl.uk.com. I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract of sale of the following goods: Goods: Order reference (if known): Ordered on / received on: Name of consumer(s): Address of consumer(s): Signature of consumer(s) (only if sent on paper): Date: Delete whichever wording does not apply. WARRANTY & CLAIMS CRUX equipment is made for demanding use. Our warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship for ten years from purchase. Our ten-year warranty CRUX guarantees its products to the original customer for ten years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and craftsmanship. If a defect covered by this guarantee appears, we will repair or replace the product. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, abuse or an accident. Where practical, these products can be repaired at a reasonable charge agreed with you first. This guarantee is additional to your statutory rights and does not reduce them. Making a claim Contact the retailer who sold you the product, or email carol@odl.uk.com (mailto:carol@odl.uk.com). Include your name and contact details, the product model, proof or other evidence of purchase, a description of the fault and photographs if available. We will advise on the next steps and give you a return reference where needed. Please contact us before sending a warranty item so it reaches the appropriate place. The process can vary by product; a reference is for organising the claim and does not replace your legal rights against the seller. The guarantee is provided by Outdoor Design Logistics Ltd, trading as CRUX, Unit 1, Brosterfield Farm, Foolow, Eyam, Hope Valley, Derbyshire S32 5QB, United Kingdom. It applies to CRUX products bought by the original customer, including purchases from CRUX dealers; contact us about arrangements for an international claim.
