Crux pioneered the use of eVent waterproof/breathable fabric in down clothing. Our Plasma jacket, launched in 2008, was immediately recognized within the industry as a ground-breaking product. Warm, light and weatherproof, it took advantage of the air-permeability of the eVent membrane and combined it with the baffle-welding technology developed for crux's Torpedo sleeping bags.

Our range of eVent-shell down garments now offers three fill-weights: the Plasma jacket (also available as the Plasma smock and the Women's Plasma jacket) with 160g of down fill, the Magma jacket with 225g and the Lava jacket with 300g.
