Crux shell clothing
Crux shell clothing is designed for the active climber and mountaineer. It combines tough, waterproof face fabrics with a tailored fit that gives full freedom of movement and allows layering. Crux shell outerwear comes in three ranges, the Flak, Torq and Women’s Torq.
Crux shell garments are made from the highly breathable and fully waterproof eVent membrane married to a tough and durable face fabrics. All the garments are remarkably light despite the medium- and heavy-weight fabrics used thanks to their simple, minimalist design. We devote a large part of the development process to fit and believe we have the best-fitting shell garments available for active mountaineers of both sexes.
The Flak, Torq and Women’s Torq shell ranges differ only in fabric weight and small feature details. Their cut and fit have been developed specifically for climbing – and in the case of the Women’s Torq, specifically for women – and allow for layering (e.g. with crux down mid-layer garments).
